Dhoom 3 Movie Review (2013)

Dhoom Dhoom all the way again! Yes, this year's biggest and most awaited film, Dhoom 3 is here.
Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, this multi-starer film features Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff and Uday Chopra in the lead.
The plot sees Aamir play Sahir, a circus boy. A master mind, he sets to take revenge for his father's (Jackie) murder from the circus owners. With the help of his co-worker Aaliya (Katrina), he plans to rob their money, which they have kept in a Bank, in Chicago. While Sahir plans this well, making use of his magic tricks, two cops, ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek) and Ali Akbar (Uday) come into the picture, trying to prevent this crime. What follows then, is a lot of action, thrill and chase, in true Hollywood style.
If you have seen the Hollywood film, Now You See Me, you might find Dhoom 3 having too many similarities as it. However, though the director has been inspired from the film, he has altered it according to the Indian audience's taste. The film which is said to be one of the most expensive films so far, surely has a class of its own. Be it the costumes, props, backdrops, locations, stunts or the hot bikes, it definitely gets an A+ for that. Releasing it in the IMAX format and using Dolby Atmos, the latest sound technology, this film is giving the audience a new feel or technology and quality of film, which they have never experienced before.
Coming to the performance, Aamir who plays the villain in the film justifies the role with his smart body language and intense looks. No doubt, a great performer, who speaks loud through his performance and never fails to keep up to the expectations of his fans. Katrina Kaif adds glamour to this high-octane action flick. She is seen doing stunts and dance scenes, she has never done before. Her energy is just outstanding in the film, justifying the statement that, she gets better with every film. Abhishek and Uday are the Dhoom franchise trade marks, as they have been a part of all the series. Reprise the role of a cop, Abhishek's performance when compared to the previous series, sees good improvement. On the other hand, Uday tickles your nerves, with his comedy and chemistry with a new girl.
Music of the film too is good and the credit for that goes to Pritam.
The film has kept up to it's word and all the hype was worth it. Don't miss watching this Dhoom packed film!
